Inventor Fusion Video Tutorial Released

Our new Inventor Fusion video tutorial is out! You might not have heard of Fusion; it is AutoDesk Inventor's little sister. AutoDesk released Fusion with its 2012 release of Inventor and AutoCAD.  So, if you buy AutoCAD or Inventor, you'll get Fusion bundled right in with it. Why Fusion? Well, if you're an AutoCAD user, Fusion is where you can create more sophisticated 3D models, including surface modeling.  If you're not used to 3D CAD parametric modeling, you'll find the Fusion interface quite a bit easier to use than Inventor and SolidWorks.  The tools are organized more simply.  There are fewer tools, of course, but they are easy to find and use than in parametric CAD software. But do you need Fusion if you're an Inventor user?  Not so much, because Inventor Professional and even Inventor LT have more tools and functionality, but Fusion might be your clearing house if, for example, you need to import & share history-free models with a team that uses non-AutoDesk CAD software.  Fusion is history-free, so you can import files from other software a bit more easily.

The Inventor Fusion video tutorial comes standalone, bundled with our AutoCAD video tutorial, and also with our Inventor video library. The Fusion video tutorial 3:43 hours and contains 74 videos: http://www.video-tutorials.net/vtn/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=74&products_id=246.   The Inventor Fusion video tutorial covers the basics of interface and sketching, as well as solid and surface modeling. The video tutorial comes with the part files so you can practice on your own, and also includes several exercise video tutorials.
